It was a warm, pleasant day for the latest Flag competition at the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre.
In the Under 10s Girls, Amy Blackadder produced a personal best performance to reach the 9th green and claim top spot. Lois Mair, also played extremely well as she reached the 8th green as she finished runner-up to Amy.
HAlan Tang headed the Under 10s Boys event with another PB performance as he made it to the 10th green with his 36th shot. Leo Yeats, in his first ever PLF Flag was second thanks to him reaching the 8th green. Harry Mawhinney in third place also made it to the 8th green but just outside Leo’s effort.
The Under 12s Girls saw Lily MacDonald, by making it to the 9th green, managed to claim top prize in her section. Lois Reid just fell short as she manage to the 9th fairway in securing 2nd spot. Hannah Mair finished on the 8th green as she took 3rd place.
Under 12s Boys – Ollie Robertson was looking to beat his own personal best and managed to the 12th tee, holing out at the 11th with his 36th shot. Lorne MacDonald also progressed through 9 holes as he finished on the 10th green with his last shot, taking runner-up place in the process. Seth Malcolm completed an impressive day for Personal Bests as he made it to the holeside at the 8th to finish in 3rd place in his section.
