FAQS
Am I eligible to play in any competitions?
The competitions are in age groups which you will fit into. Age groups are determined by your age on the 1st of January of a given year. So, provided you were under 10/12/15/18 on the 1st of January, you will be eligible to play within that age category for the remainder of the year.
There is no need for any handicap or club membership to play in the Flag events.
The under 15 and under 18 Stablefords and Jnr Opens would require you to be a member of a club and have an official handicap.

Do I need an adult with me at all times?
All competitors in the flag event need a responsible adult with them at all times. An adult is not required to go round the course with the older age groups.
A supervising adult does not require any knowledge of the rules of golf but are really there to ensure their child’s safety and to supervise.
Are we allowed to have parents caddying?
No. All competitors have to deal with their own clubs in the competitions.
Although caddying is not permitted, in wet or difficult conditions it is acceptable for the supervising adult to assist with the use of umbrellas and to help the child to keep warm & dry.
Are we allowed to use measuring devices?
Yes, these are permitted in all of our events.
