The weather was kind for the boys & girls taking part in our Flag event at the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre on Open Championship Sunday – unlike the conditions over in Portrush!
Brothers Blake & Bradley Lamb finished third and first, respectively, in the Under 10s Boys with Kameron Brown Runner-Up behind Bradley.
In the Under 10s Girls, Amy Blackadder put in an impressive performance to top her section as she made it to the 9th fairway in 36. Brook Sinclair was second and Lois Reid third.
Evan Walker progressed through the 9th to win the Under 12s Boys, seeing off the challenge of Lorne MacDonald (2nd) and Kyle Marshall (3rd).
Whilst in the Under 12s Girls, Lily MacDonald edged out her sister, Evie MacDonald to win her category. Isla Reid finished in third place.
The Advanced Flag was won by Oli Blackadder who made it to the side of the 12th green. Zack Don was second and Mitchell Sinclair third.
